Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation ‘may be redeployed from Sevastopol to Syria’, where Russia has a sea base, as head of the Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in Odessa region Konstantin Rzhepyshevskyi said.
He reminded that the Russian part has already aired the possibility of this issue solution, however the position of Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs remains unchanged as to the term of Black Sea Fleet’s staying in Ukraine, which completely correspond to the ‘word of ongoing Ukrainian-Russian agreements and the Constitution of Ukraine’.
“The Black sea is to become the zone of peace and economic cooperation”, - stated Rzhepyshevskyi, as UNIAN reports.
