Each year people in Ukraine earn 310 billion hryvnyas ‘in envelopes’ (salary given in envelopes to evade taxes). This is information aired by director of the State employment center Volodymyr Halytskyi.
To his words, such situation negatively influences both the all-national macroeconomic figures and the attractiveness of home labour market, as UNIAN reports.
“The state is to reduce tax pressure on salary fund and thus to encourage ‘going out from shadow’. In that case, if the salary is due, Ukraine won’t be abandoned active, highly-skilled labour resources”, - as Halytskyi consider.
