Kharkiv Metallist football club was honored at Maidan Svobody. Yesterday the team received bronze at the national championship.
This is the greatest achievement of the club since Ukraine got its independence. Besides the medal, the football club Metallist received the certificate to the right to take part in 2007-2008 season in UEFA Cup competitions.
On the day of the win Kharkovians played away with Dnepr. The match in Dnipropetrovsk ended in Metallist win – 2:0.
