On April 17, President Viktor Yuschenko will visit Britain to take part in final presentation of Ukraine and Poland at the meeting of UEFA on the tender for holding Euro 2012.
Presidential press service disclosed this in a statement, text of which Ukrainian News has.
It is planned that Yuschenko will take part in the final presentation in the city of Cardiff.
The UEFA plans to take the decision on April 18.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in November 2005, the UEFA included joint application of Poland and Ukraine into the final trio of candidates for hosting Euro 2012.
In October 2006, the UEFA suspended the term for defining a winner in the tender for holding European Football Championship 2012 from December 2006 to April 2007.
Croatia and Hungary are also bidding to co-host the 2012 matches, while Italy is bidding to host it alone, reported Ukrainian News.
We remind that if UEFA selects Ukraine and Poland to hold the championship, one of the matches may be held in Kharkiv city.
