South grandstand has revived! There appeared iron mounts for chairs and a huge skeleton for the panel. The stadium screen, local authorities promise, is to operate on March 11 – on the day of the match between Kharkiv “Metallist” and Donetsk “Shakhter”.
“Metallist” is expecting a valuable cargo: two screens – 7 by 9 meters. They are coming from Russia.
South grandstand has stayed half destroyed for almost 20 years – today it is the epicenter of constructive works at “Metallist” stadium. There are two reasons for that. Local authorities assure: Europe championship of 2012 and the match of youth national teams of Ukraine and Turkey this summer.
Not to put the evil eye on, constructors give promises with an “if” – “if the financing goes smoothly”.
The leadership of the “Metallist” have already filed a video clip with how the stadium looks like by EURO-2012 to the Organizational UEFA committee.
The moment of truth is in a moth: on April 18 UEFA is to say who will be the host of the champion 2012.
