A test match of youth championship of Europe-2009 between Ukraine and Turkey planned on July 1, 2007 may be held in Kharkiv on Metallist stadium.
As reports the official site of the Metallist club referring to Director General of JSC Metallist football club Yevheniy Krasnikov, a preliminary agreement on match holding with Oleksiy Mykhaylichenko, major coach of youth national team, has been reached due to the assistance of the First Vice President of the Football Federation of Ukraine and Governor Deputy of Kharkiv region Serhiy Storozhenko.
To the site information, the leadership of Metallist football club and Metallist regional sports complex support the idea of such match, as for the first time in the independent Ukraine Kharkovians will be able to see a match of such level on Metallist stadium.
