The strongest sportsmen from Russia, Byelorussia and Ukraine took part in international tournament in power-lifting to end in Dniepropetrovsk. At this tournament Mekhtiyeva won the first place in the weight category up to 60 kilograms.
137 – is the highest national achievement. The pupil of an honoured coach of Ukraine Viktor Karpenko has traditionally gladdened the audience.
In male competitions Vasyl Mezerya bore the bell in an absolute category with a record inKharkiv region – 257.5 kilograms.
