Kharkovians won four gold medals at the WKA (World Kickboxing Association) version of World championship held in Spain.
16 year-old pupil of Kharkiv WKA district kickboxing federation Anastasiya Tereshchenko won silver in light-contact, her 10 year-old team-mate Fedir Cherkashyn have become bronze winner in the same category, another two bronze medals were gained by cadets of Civil Defense University of Ukraine Dmytro Tarabanovskyi and Ruslan Meleshchenko.
