The second Ukraine championship on cheerleading – purely female kind of sport – will be held in sports palace “Lokomotiv” on October 14-15/ Grand Prix prizewinners and 20 cheerleading teams from different regions of the country will present new and old entertaining performances.
Cheerleading is the name of the dancing shows of the cheering teams. Since last year it has officially become a kind of sport. This cheering movement appeared in the United States more than a century ago to cheer-up teams of American football, basketball and baseball. Here in Ukraine cheerleading aims to cheer up not only sportsmen but sideliners.
