Today orthodox Christians celebrate a great Christian holiday - the Nativity of the Most Holy Mother of God. People call this day more the Virgin.
To the Bible, Blessed Virgin was born in Nazareth by aged parents who had dreamt of a child, but couldn’t bear it, until they promised to give their child to serve God.
Since then the Virgin is considered to be traditionally a female holiday when a woman is supposed to honour as the human race continuator.
