Keeping a fast is stylish today, the cooks of Kharkiv cafeteria insist. The menu card of almost every restaurant or bar has the new page today – “The fasting dishes”.
The first week of fasting is the most severe, the priests say. As waiters say, the most popular dish in these days was mushrooms.
They are put into the fasting saltwort, fried potato, dumplings or are given as individual dish. In the first week of fasting some cooks don’t add even the sunflower oil to the meal. In the cloistral there are only baked potato and pumpkins, saltings nad honey today.
