Mayor of sister city Poznan Mister Ryshard Grobelny invited official Kharkiv delegation to participate in celebrations devoted to 50th anniversary of Poznan people’s rising for independence. In June , 1956 many revolutionaries has died.
June 28 in Poland is National Memory Day of Poznan June 1956.
Kharkiv delegation will participate in celebration along with other Poznan’s sister cities Asen (Netherlands), Hanover (Germany), Nottingham (Great Britain), Posuelo de Alarcon (Spain). Celebration will start June 28 in the morning after the mourning mass on Adam Mizkevich square that is dedicated to the memory of June 1956 death tall.
June 29 the delegation will take part in great meeting of Poznan City Council.
Among working moments of visit there are discussing of the common project of sister cities Kharkiv, Poznan and Asen on the question of development of municipal services strategy. In the event of the sides make agreement about project establishing, its details would be discussed in early July during the visit of Poznan and Asen representatives working group to Kharkiv.
