Regional election commission has processed over 96% of ballots of Kharkiv Regional Council election. It was reported by the head of the regional territorial election commission on Regional Council election Nikolay Seleznyov.
As he said, till 3 p.m. on March 30 territorial election commission has proceeded 96.55% of ballots that came from 1653 electoral districts (they all in region are 1712), Kharkiv Regional State Administration official site informs.
In accordance with voting results, the candidates of the regional department of the Party of Regions are leading. 42,13% of electors voted them. The second are candidates of the “Block of Yulia Timoshenko” – 10,61%. On the third place are the “People’s Union “Our Ukraine” – 5,89%.
The 3%-barrier have overcame also CPU (5,25%), the block of Natalya Vitrenko (4,76%), the party “Viche” (3,71%), the party “Vidrodzhennya” (3,53%) and the “Block of Goshovsky “For union” (3,03%). 5,03% of electors voted nobody.
Nikolay Seleznyov said also that 2,92% of ballots was declared invalid.
