A little more than 63% of electors took part in elections in Kharkiv region. As the head of the regional election commission Nikolay Seleznyov said, the last Parliament electoral company gathered more people – about 70% voters came to the election districts that time.
On his opinion, the reason of it is that the conditions of voting at home have changed.
According to data from Valery Kamchatny, the head of the regional working group that compiled electoral lists, the most active on election-2006 were the people of Kedichovka district (76, 6%). The less people (59,3%) came to vote in Kharkiv district.
In Kharkiv the most active voters live in Moscovsky district (62,66%), the most passive – in Leninsky district (58%).
