Kharkiv militia has switched to the medium security. The reason is that Sunday elections are coming. Today militiamen are working already on the election districts. They are guarding the rooms where ballots would stay before the election day. Besides that, they examine the state of districts.
Main pretenses to the commissions are that they are not equipped with fire extinguishers, outside lighting and sometimes even safes for documents.
Special unit “Grifon” would protect the courts for 24 hours. Almost all personnel of Traffic Police also come on charge. Passport Offices will work on Saturday and Sunday from 7.00 till 22.00.
