Special commission of the Kharkiv City Executive Committee has started already to examine the signature lists for All-Ukrainian referendum. The main questions concern entering the NATO or CES. Signatures’ checking would take two weeks, the chief of the organizational department of the City Executive Committee Viktor Miroshnik said.
The idea of oppositional block ”Ne Tak!” to hold a referendum was supported by more than 450 thousand Kharkovians, the local member of the party insist. The leader of the block Leonid Kravchuk arrived to Kharkiv to pass the signatures to the city authorities.
Leonid Kravchuk, the leader of the oppositional block “Ne TAK!”: “We, the block “Ne Tak!”, are against neglecting the people’s will concerning everybody’s definition about NATO”.
According to law, it is necessary to gather 3 million signatures for All-Ukrainian referendum. The leaders of the block “Ne Tak!” assure that they had gathered 3,5 million signatures in country in all.
