The production of milk in all agricultural farms in Ukraine during January-August in Ukraine has constituted about 8 mln. 609,9 thous. tons, which is by 6.9% less comparing to the analogue period of last year.
The Statistics state committee informed of this, as UNIAN reports.
To the information, the production of eggs in all farms throughout eight months this year has constituted 9 bln. 865.7 mln. pieces, which is by 2% less comparing to the analogue period of last year.
At the same time, the production of meat has been increased. To the SSC information, in January-August 2007 1 mln. 660.2 thous. tons of meat have been produced, which is by 9.89% more comparing to the analogue period of last year.
