The seventh Harry Potter has ‘come’ to Kharkiv. In Ukrainian.
Sorcery and creatures with Ukrainian accent and coloring appeared on shelves of Kharkiv shops earlier than in Russian shops – on Tuesday morning. Today shop assistants are expecting fans of Potteriana – Olena Mohylivets says that schoolchildren, students, teachers started asking about Ukrainian book right after the English book came out. That’s why shop assistants don’t yet where to put the seventh Harry Potter – to the department of literature for children, or to the literature for adults –to other magicians.
Olena Mohylivets, shop assistant, “I know that many people like Harry Potter. But today is the first day, we’ll see where we put it. It may be arranged even at this stand”.
Joan Rowling dedicated the book to seven people at once, with a note “the seventh name is for you if you have stuck with Harry Potter till the end”. The end promised by the writer won’t simply be.
The boy who survived keeps living in the seventh, the last story. Rowling finishes four thousand pages with the phrase which you couldn’t meet in the text before. And it is extremely simple in the translation. “Everything was good” and no ‘to be continued’.
