Ukrainians shoot the first in the years of the country’s independence full-length comedy. The shooting of the feature with quite an odd name “Rushken :-)” take place in Czech Republic.
This is an international project. The idea, the screenplay, the directing and shooting organization are on the part of Ukraine – producing center “Astra-C” (Happy Birthday, Queen!).
The production of the feature was taken up by Czech cinema companies, which worked at such films as “Lord of the Rings”, “Siberian Barber”, “Dune”, “Blade 2”, “Oliver Twist”.
As reports ForUm referring to UNIAN, famous Russian and Ukrainian actors Khoronko, Isayev, Klimova, Lykov, Svetin, Vertynskyi, Rozumovskyi, Zhurakhovska, Lalenkov and others are starring in the film.
The plot of the story tells about two fakers speculating on Pushkin’s name in the beginning of 19th century. One of them looks like him and pretends to be him. The other poses as his secretary. The main characters manage to trick money from provincial Pushkin’s admirers until they come to town N, somewhere between Kyyiv and Odessa…
“Astra-C” commercial-director Oleksiy Chemeris said, “It will be something like “Naked Gun” or “Hot Heads” with somewhat absurd humor, although without American junk”, reports RBK-Ukraine.
The release of the film is expected to be in Ukraine and Russia the next season .
