The 3rd Nikolay Loentovich music festival has opened today on his birthday in the Kharkiv Leontovich music school. This year the competition numbers 1.500 executants. They are so much because the program of festival includes special nomination - the choirs.
Nikolay Leontovich in particular distinguished himself by compositions for the choirs. The other nominations are the directions of the classic music school: pianoforte, people’s instruments, wind and bow instruments.
On the Leontovich music school scene the children will perform for five days. As organizers stress, the festival is not an exam and the auditorium is welcome on concerts.
